Cadeyrn is a very driven character, with aims and goals that are very openly for the benefit of all, but sometimes demand too much of the individual. He is little tolerant for idle chatter or useless relationships, and may even come across as calculating, as if each person around him were a pawn on a chessboard.
He enjoys the company of others as driven as he is, as confident and as smart as he is, and will openly dismiss or disdain those that cannot earn his respect. Some lenience can be made for younger generations, but those are thin, and often fragile lines, best not counted upon.

Born his sister, but the daughter of his heart, Cadeyrn has loved and lost little Firefly when she was just five years old, of a weak heart. Though many say this is mere coincidence, especially around his mother-- Cadeyrn is far from convinced, and fears something far more dreadful has happened to her.

When they are in the same spaces, Cadeyrn holds little to no regards for the artist. He is simple-minded and a dream-like thoughtful that ill-serves him in reality. Cadeyrn is a little disdainful of him, and otherwise holds no feelings for him.
How can such a moron exist. No, seriously, how? Natural selection has failed humanity -- and even the world-- that Esteban is still living and breathing.
More seriously, while Cadeyrn holds a strong disdain for Esteban's foolishness, he does admit his devotion and enthusiasm are seldom seen in others. While he has no desire to hold a strong relationship with the half-elf, he is at least occasionally tolerant of his moronic tendencies when he seems a good fit for a task.

While they are overall distant with one another, both of them are very aware how similar their personalities run, and there is a deep trust established between them, though absolutely no affection. In worlds where Firefly is still alive, Rosa has been hired as his sister's nanny and bodyguard, both in one; an arrangement that benefits both parties and that they are quite satisfied with.

Cadeyrn loves and thrives on cooking, baking and sweets making. He loves trying out new recipes and improving his repertoire of ingredients he can cook. He's quite used to having one or twohelpers taste-testers, and he won't mind someone sitting along nearby while he cooks.
His skills with the cooking knife are also remarkable, and he keeps them very sharp. He does not stab people with them, that's a contamination offense.
Magic-wise, Cadeyrn is incredibly powerful. He controls lightning; both through his own body and from the atmosphere in general. He can zap someone through a touch, or even through a short distance if he spends the mana for it, but his preferred method is to guide his magic through his sword, to deal both damage from the blade and from the spark at once. This kind of lightning is deeply rooted in his own mana well, and his personality, and though the shock can be quite powerful, it'll rarely have secondary effects, such as thunder, or flashes of light bright enough to blind.
When Cadeyrn calls lightning from the sky, his range is insane; anywhere he can see is within his reach. This calls a literal bolt of lightning from the sky however, and can take several minutes to prepare, as he reaches out to stir the world mana into behaving as he wants it to.
